From Trailguru

Name: Tim Park

Trailguru has grown out of two things that consume an inordinate amount of my time: the outdoors and software development. Our goal with Trailguru is to create a comprehensive guide to the outdoors by combining the local knowledge of thousands of outdoor users just like you and make it easy to discover and plan outdoor trips. The premise of Trailguru is that each of us is an expert of at least one area that others would be interested in and that there are the hundreds of areas within our reach that we haven't explored because we don’t know about them. This project aims to use the power of the web to fix that.

Now, really about me: When I am not working on Trailguru, you can find me out mountain biking, trail running, or road biking. This is what I really enjoy doing and my experiences and frustrations with finding new places to explore is what has driven me to build this site. My hope is that this site proves valuable for your outdoor adventures as well.
