Jump In
The Trailguru project relies on contributions from the community in order to move forward. In addition to enjoying the articles that other members have added, as a member of the community you are expected to jump in and contribute yourself: add articles, contribute GPS tracks, and expand and correct the details of existing articles. This is the foundation of our community and is what really powers this site.
You might be fearful that you might damage the wiki or make a mistake. This is a possibility BUT we liken this to just about anything in the outdoors -- it will take practice and experience, and yes, you might make mistakes the first time. The good news is that the software that this site is built on anticipates these mistakes and makes it easy for you or other community members to correct them.
In other words, jump in -- we are there to catch you.
If you see something that you know to be incorrect or something that is missing that you know would be helpful: Fix it, add on to it, and, if it's complete rubbish, delete it. Likewise, others will mercilessly edit what you write: don't take it personally. They, like all of us, just want to make the Trailguru project succeed.
