Hello,

I miss couple things on trailguru web: 1. move and/or delete registered points 2. draw track manualy 3. click on any point on my track and get info about this specific point (time/date/speed/etc.)

and iPhone App: 1. when locked screen sometimes screen becomes blank white - possibly trying to load maps. When i lock screen I mean LOCK screen, where only slider can get me deeper into the app. 2. store tracks on iPhone 3. preload maps, so I don't need Connection to view where am I. 4. GPSies has really nice App UI, You could get some inspiration out of it :)

I tested almost all options of tracking for running with iPhone, Trailguru is the best-so-far solution, so keep it rolling :)

best regards Michal

Seen something that could make enjoying the outdoors easier with a new feature on Trailguru? This is the place to record it. Please give as complete a description as possible. Sign your entry using ~~~~ so we can get back to you as necessary for more information. To keep this page as clean and concise as possible, please discuss the feature requests on the talk page and when a decision is made, update the feature request.

Finally, for problems with existing functionality, please don't add these here but instead add a Problem Reports.

Hello, is there any way to add locations of places to stay (hotels/resorts) in the instance your users are not camping/backpackers? Please let me know if this is of interest to you as we have two potential properties.

Thank you~

  • It would be great to be able to post links to uploaded tracks to a twitter account both through the web & iPhone appliaction.

  • Two feature requests - 1) Add the ability to edit the title of the workout on the website. I have accidentally posted the wrong workout title and now have no ability to correct the title on the "My user page". 2) Transfer the stopped and moving time measurements from the iPhone to the workout statistics.

  • Would it be possible to add friends, and look at where they are? For instance, if I'm going for a bike ride, could my wife open trailguru on her phone and have it display her friends, to see how close I am to home on the map? Loopt does something like this.

  • It would be good to have a catagory Run / Walk or Walk / Run. As part of my get fit 2007, 2008 & now 2009 campaign I do about 50% of my runs as Run / Walks. It would be good to have so my Run & Walk stats stay pure & accurate. Besides that I think the program is great. I use it on the iPhone 3G.

  • It would help to have a confirmation message come up after touching the "Clear" button on the iPhone. A couple of times I have lost ride information because the "Clear" button was mistakenly touched. This is a terrific program. Thank you for all your hard work on it!!

  • Add microformats - see Trailguru_talk:Community_Portal#Microformats. Andy Mabbett 04:47, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
  • True search capabilities (just try searching on the word "Berlin" to see the mish-mash that appears) 03:15, 13 February 2007 (CST)~
    • I am working on this. Right now it is just the wiki software that I have doing this but I will improve this in future releases. Tpark 01:37, 1 March 2007 (CST)
  • The <map> extension needs to be extended so there can be multiple in a single page. Tim 03:08, 10 September 2006 (CDT)
  • It would be better if the <map> extension automatically zoomed in on the map such that it framed the GPX data as closely as possible by default. Tim 03:08, 10 September 2006 (CDT)
  • Shade route GPX lines based on gradient. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
  • Elevation plot extension for GPX data. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
  • Add option for sunrise/sunset times for current date for location tag. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
  • Add waypoint title to maps. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
  • Waypoints other than mountain peaks. The two specific types I'm thinking of are campsites (for backpackers) and landmarks - which can help with visual navigation. Or maybe this is already covered in the above request? --Justin 11:58, 7 May 2007 (CDT)
  • How do we integrate the new Google Terrain feature into Trailguru? Bob.mb.ca 14:36, 25 December 2007 (CST)~
    • Thanks for the reminder. Merry Christmas, I added it for you... Tim 14:35, 26 December 2007 (CST)
    • Hi Tim, thnx so much fixing my home page AND for adding the Terrain feature to the maps/wiki pages. Does everyone now sees Terrain as a choice?? Very cool!! Bob.mb.ca 10:13, 27 December 2007 (CST)
